I have been on long-term disability for a year-and-a-half now and in another six months the language changes to capable of doing any job. Unfortunately my job is not there anymore the company has closed down as of a year ago ..so can they cut me off after my two years is up cuz I have no job to return to or do they have to retrain me for different career

If at the 2 year mark you cannot work in any occupation for which you're suited for by training, education or experience then your LTD should continue. The availability of a job is not the issue. The issue is whether you can work in another occupation for which you're suited for. Typically that means that if you can do another job where you can earn about 60-65% of your pre-disability income then your LTD won't continue. But if you can't, then your LTD should absolutely continue and if it doesn't then call or email me at my contact info below and we can discuss your legal options (at no cost).
