Ask your question and a Long-term Disability Lawyer in Canada will answer in minutes
I'm on long term disability from sunlife which I got through my employer for the last year and a half my disability makes me unable to ever work again. So sunlife encouraged me to apply for cpp disability so I did and to my surprise i was approved to get it. Cpp disability back paid me for all of 2024 til now so I received a lump sum now sunlife says they overpaid me and they want the lump sum. My question is do I have to repay them or not? Because I am having difficulty living on $1700 a month.
Thanks for your question.
