Hello I am on long term disability but my insurance company says that they are going to cut me off after the two year mark. They got me to apply for CCP disability and I got approved for that and I am receiving that. I also applied for the disability tax credit and I got approved for that. Will they be able to cut me off at the two year mark?

Generally at the 2-year mark, there is something called a 'Change of Definition'. This means that to continue to receive benefits, you need to be considered from working in any occupation. This is a common time for insurers to end your benefits as it is a more difficult threshold to meet. However, if you and your doctors do not believe you can return to work in any capacity, and your insurer ends your benefits, you should contact us ASAP so we can help.
