Do you have to give financial information about a pension that has nothing to do with the claim I'm on does this have no bearing on my ltd payments.

Pension payments are sometimes deductible from LTD payments - depending on the terms of your specific LTD policy. You may want to start by asking your case manager at the insurance company, in writing (i.e. by email), why he or she needs that information, and why it's relevant to their adjudication, and go from there.
