If an employer terminates an employee based on frustration of contract, would severance still apply based on the severance pay calculator? Thank you.

No, it would be only the minimum amount of severance (much less). That said, just because the company terminated for frustration, doesn't mean they were legally allowed to do that. You should give us a call so that we can assess what you are owed.
