Can an employer refuse to pay LTD benefits even after the Independent Medical Exam they requested supported the initial exam of an employee's own family doctor?

If their own IME doctor agreed that you pass the medical test, it would likely be a very tenuous/questionable denial. But I would obviously have to review the denial letter and any other pertinent documentation to give a proper opinion on it. I will email you directly about this to set that up.
