Ask your question and a Long-term Disability Lawyer in Canada will answer in minutes
Hi there, I am a dental hygienist of 16 years and I have never had disability insurance. Now I’m starting to feel long term effects of my profession in my wrists and shoulder and am thinking I should have insurance. However I hear such horror stories from other hygienist about constantly getting denied payment or it taking years for the insurance company to pay. Is this right and is it something that a lawyer can resolve quickly if and when needed?
I absolutely recommend that you get LTD insurance. Contact a broker and they will help you get the right coverage. Insurers sometimes deny claims but we resolve them regularly. It’s very important in my view to have such coverage. It’s as important if not more important as life insurance, in my view.
