Can ltd and cpp discuss my cpp application? Ltd want me to sign two forms to allow to communicate with cpp. One to send my information and one to communicate to them.

This may depend on the wording of your specific LTD policy. But your concern is valid.

I would start by advising your LTD case manager that you're willing to sign the Authorization allowing them access to the CPPD file - but regarding them actually speaking to/communicating with CPPD about you/their adjudication of your claim, you'd like to know why they need to do that, and what term of the policy they are relying on in asserting that they have that right? You could also ask them to advise what questions they plan to ask CPPD about you, and then perhaps offer to get those questions answered for them, instead of them getting the answers directly from CPPD.
