My company wants to terminate my appointment. I've been disabled for the last 6 years receiving LTD. I'm permanently disabled and cannot return to any work I'm permanently disabled . My LTD policy States that if my employer terminates my employment my LTD insurance company States they will cut my payment. Because they are a Replacement of lost hours Thus if my employer terminates me while I'm on LTD my LTD company can stop paying me benefits is what they are saying. Can LTD stop my benefit Payments If I'm terminated.

Typically as long as you remain continuously disabled, your LTD claim would continue beyond your termination. What matters is that you had insurance coverage on the date that you became disabled.

If you are in fact cut-off benefits for this reason, you should contact us right away for a free consultation.
