I am approved for long term disability in late July this year for 6 months. I got a call from my manager informing me that the company is under re-organization, and I will be terminated on about October 24. I will get a formal letter from HR in this or next week. On the call, he told me that he has a position(much lower pay than my current pay) at another company, he will personally connecting me to hiring manager. He told me to apply ASAP as many applicants on first day of posting. He also asked me to send my resume to his personal email. With my current disability, should I take his advice applying the job? Thanks

It’s obviously your decision but if you remain disabled then how will you do the job? Alternatively, if you can do the job then your insurer will likely cut off your benefits.
