I’m getting fed up with the constant once a month harassing calls and want to know if I can just direct the case manager to talk with my dr. This has been going on now for the last 6 months of a 14 month LTD. Answer: The insurance company is entitled to ask and receive information regarding your health, however they are not entitled to bully or harass you for that information. You are able to ask for and sign an authorization form for the insurer to speak directly with your doctor.
