Hi there! I am wondering if there is any possibilty of an insurance company paying out a mortgage disability insurance past their said 24 month maximum? I am a cancer patient currentlt undergoing treatments and am unable to return to work still. The letter I got indicated that the overall maximum is 48 months of disability benefit payments for your lifetime. I had just called and was told that the maximum is just 24months. Please help me understand this?

It really depends on what the policy says. Ask them to point you to the section of the policy of where it says how long they have to pay for. If they ignore you or what they say does not accord with what the policy says then contact me at my number or email below and we can discuss your legal options.
