If I go on long term disability and my current employer has no other work options for me, can I get retraining for a different job while still collecting benefits? Would I get laid off from my job?

Your employer must keep your job open for you until you are able to go back to work. If they don't have a job for you then you may have a claim for severance and possibly human rights damages. Please call or email me and we will help you and advise you on your legal options in this regard. My contact info is below.
