One of my Friend, she is under long term disability and her inauarnce approved her long term disability and will cover to her till 65 years. But at the same time, they request her to apply CPP disability,

Q:if CPP disability Application is not approved, will the insurance company use this excuse to stop her long term disability Payment to her?

If long term disability approved, under what suitation, the insurance cut off the payment?

Thanks

Insurers sometimes cut people off LTD because they got denied CPP Disability but that should NOT happen. If it does we can probably help. In terms of your second question, insurers cut people off for all kinds of reasons, primarily when they think that the person is no longer disabled from working. If that should happen to your friend, let me know ASAP and we will help. My contact info is below.
