soon my claim will convert from short term to long term disability and my 1yr of salary continuance will end. Will I still be an employee of my company when I enter long term disability? also my company requires 2yrs to get profit sharing. Yes your employment doesn’t end when you get into LTD. if you get income that may be credited to your LTD insurer. Check the wording in your LTD policy regarding income that is credited to the insurer.
