I have been approved LTD over the 2 year mark. Now insurance company constantly requests update. I understand that it is needed. However this causes more anxiety for me and doesn't help diagnosis. I am 40 years old. I was wondering if I can convince insurance company to just give me a buy out of plan and one time lump sum. Is this possible?
It is possible to settle your future claim but generally when the insurer approaches you about it. If you approach them they may become suspicious. Unfortunately the continuous requests for updates is not unusual.
